D’s lady friend? yeah, she’s settling for crumbs. Jesus. She asks for exclusivity, he balks, she dumps him and then crawls back and accepts FWB. Which was what she had to begin with for the most part.
It’s dating without the label. Which is what many men are choosing now.

I am having trouble seeing the distinction between the two women. Seems they are both settling for crumbs – the only reason you would ever have such an “agreement.”. To ease the guilt of settling for something less than your preference. The agreement is unenforceable so its irrelevant that one or more parties happens to abide by it voluntarily. You don’t need the quid pro quo if you want to date exclusively.
